Hi guys,

Does anyone use one of these kits? Any good? They're on the pricier end of things but the idea of just dropping it in to where the radiator goes appeals to me.

Looks nice. Thermo fans are a waste of time though.
You would do better to get the setup without fans and use the standard fan or modify a V8 one to fit.
Other than that a great looking setup.

Do you think they would serve any purpose for drag racing ie more consistent turn around (sitting in staging lanes for a while)?

Nope. Water temp is usually pretty stable on soarers anyway. When I race I had my car off the whole time and left the bonnet open to try and get heat out and I just start the car a couple of minutes before the run to get it up to about 82deg or so. Engine bay heat is always about 40deg during the day though :-(

Ben,,Get the Hydrofitted Water pump from the 1JZ in the JZX90 and its fan assembly..
Can use the Fan assembly from the Wide Body Camry..

If you are clever..You can drive the fan from the Power Steer pump..:-)

All you need to work out is the Temp control of the fan..

By the look of it i'd say the A/C stays where it is, intercooler sits where radiator used to and new radiator behind that. Thus why thermo fan is used, whole setup may be to thick to utilise standard fan. BTW is having the intercooler, i.e. a device that is meant to COOL air welded onto the radiator such a good idea?!?
