Had a mate around, and we attempted to install a single din headunit into my 91 GT Limited and replaced the cassette player unit. Managed to connect it with the (toyota to iso) (Iso to pioneer). The aftermarket headunit works, but cannot output sound, the volume control on the headunit doesnt affect the sound at all. It comes up with "AMP Error" on the aftermarket headunit screen and we are assuming it is because the volume control is seperate from the controls for the aftermarket headunit as it has an EMV screen. Anyone have any advice?

From what I've read it's more likely to do with the standard wiring to amp now being redundant. AFAIK you have to now run your own speaker wires to have this work and bypass the stock amplifier.
