Hi everyone.

I've read threads on the interchangeability between Toyota steering wheels, so long as they're pre 2001, single stage deployment airbags..

my question is, I have cruise control on my UZZ31 & was woundering if it would be possible to adapt this JZA80 late model 3 spoke Supra wheel with my cruise control stalk?

Just toying round with ideas at the moment

Cheers

Doesn't appear to be any provision for mounting the cruise stalk.

Here you go, not the best quality since they were taken on my iPhone.

It's a TRD steering wheel but the concept is essentially the same. You will need to cut a hole on the side and make a bracket to get the stalk to fit. Here's a thread with step by step instructions for you -

FYI, I didn't use the 1998 Supra stalk. Mine was just shaved down to fit.

Cheers, I like that it's actually possible.

If I did get the wheel, I think I'd pay someone like you to do that properly. Knowing my luck, I'd stuff it up somehow

Given a push I might be able to do it, I'm just wouldn't be confident modifying the airbag wiring cover

Oh, my mechanic did that for me! I wouldn't even dare trying that on my TRD wheel, seeing as I paid a sh.tload for it

Took him about 3 hours to get it all sitting flush!
