with the glue did you clean the vinyl? as there would be years of armor all which would cause it to not want to stick.. can you actually buy some of the original coloured vinyl? because i think it would look soo much better if you revinyled the whole thing.. would look sweet

I customized a twin and it doesn’t require and screws glue or anything to hold it onto the pillar. I duct taped the gauge holder on and fibre glassed it there, I damage the vinyl and I could use the a pillar again but the dog thought it would be a nice chew toy, it took me two days to complete to get it primed.

Joe - I got a set of autometer Phantom II guages off the net, possibly through importscene, and they are all good. I'm sure you'll be familiar with the excellent rep they have in the US and drag racing fraternity.

OK finally finished it, what do you guys think??
i think you have the same steering wheel as me....very cool lol...im looking into options for gauges at the moment, im thinking i will move the stereo down a slot and utilise the space above that though, then the gauges can be covered with the stereo screen open. just helps to be able to hide that sort of stuff when you need to...saves mr plod asking questions and wanting to nose around the rest of the car.
