since when is the woodgrain rare for a TT i thought all soarers had it except for the pov pack ones (2jz-ge)
I dont like the idea of wrapping a car in that fake vinyl stuff. Might as well just slap some ferrari badges and pretend your car is something its not.
did you do the vinyl stuff your self for the interior bits or send away to get them done?

the complete car wrapped in woodgrain is rare mate, centre console, stereo, climatecontrol unit, cup holder , dash, basically every part. Most are only optioned with the dash trims.
And i did it my self mate, why pay for someone else to do it? waste of money lol.
Pulled the door trims, pulled the dash apart to get the dash trims out, the rest is pretty easy and self explanitory

I second that Shane. You guys know i expect that the 'wood grain' is actually wood (apart from the console). I dont see why anyone would wrap it with anything when you can sand it and varnish/polish or clear coat. but hey each to their own.

its japanese maple, be it very thin veneer (spelling?)
Just felt like a change, in the end its my car and il do to it what i like, some might not like it some may.
99% of the folks that have seen it personally prefer it over the woodgrain, in the event i get bored of it and want to revert back to a classy look over the sporty look i have changed to, il just rip the stuff off.

its a veneer yes but its over wood. many jags and other high end cars have the same thing (ie wood on wood). As i said though if you like it great. thats all that matters. Personally i like the wood grain and think it a kind of shame to hide it.

like i said, ive gone this route as its reversible, not like painting the woodgrain, when i get bored of it, i just have ot peel it off. I liked the woodgrain, just felt like a change.
I change my interior like i change my bodykits, ive had standard, bomex, vertex and now auto couture, which im happy with LOL
