I had a funny encounter with changing seat belts in my soarer. As far as I can tell, I have factory JDM seat belt equipment, recently bought some black seat belts that are locally compliance versions . Add to that some Supra seats with different belt clasps and the end is result is:

The back seat belts don't plug in and neither do the fronts.

However, the rear buckles suit the front seat clasps, and the front seat buckles suit the rear clasps. Of course, the clasps can't be interchanged front and rear

Do you think there is way to swap the buckles from front to rear? Can you get replacement clasps for the front seats for Supra's (the front seat belts are ADM, the clasps are JDM)

It's tricky one eh?

Don't know about Supra, but on the Soarer, you'll typically find:

Seat belt stalks need to match the belts, eg if you change belts between Toyota and others, the stalks would need to be changed, too.

Toyota stalks have a red button, the others are more orange.

Seat belt stalks are easy to replace and available new from Toyota at semi-reasonable prices.

Front and rear cannot be interchanged - the rear one is effectively a single piece, too.

Left and right are not interchangeable, either.
