Howdy,

It is time I bit the bullet and spent some dough fixing my broken door trims. I remember someone had them new for sale. I think around the $200 mark each.

Are these still available? I dont wish to fix them ...I just want new.

Cheers guys.

Neil, bless him, was doing a group buy, and that's where they came from

Min has a break in it halfway allong the window line - the vinyl is hanging on at the moment, but you can see it bubbling - its going to split eventually if I dont fix the break underneath, and will almost certainly split if I try and remove the whole trim... was thinking of injecting some kind of glue in there - any one have any bright ideas? Other than a broken right hand vent inlet, its the only bad spot in an otherwise immaculate interior.

Now that you mention it Don, it was Neil. I've contacted him, and :fingerscrossed: he can still get me a pair...and for hopefully less than a years wages.

Is there anyone here that bought some from Neil? What exactly did you get?

Cheers.

I bought a drivers side door pocket from Neil which is the lower section of door trim which holds the window/door switches, speaker grill and map pocket etc. Best investment I ever made. Before I fitted it I reinforced the usual breakage area around the speaker grille with Araldite and used large(ish) washers under all fixing screws to spread the load nicely and prevent the screws pulling through the trim.

If Neilo-San does another group buy, I would entertain the thought of getting at LEAST the drivers side, and possibly the passengers side, although both mine have only got the split by the speakers, and are perfect in ALL other respects, so maybe getting them repaired would be the go

Ok...I'm gonna setup a Expression of Interest Thread that we can show Neil and he can get us a price if he wants, otherwise we'll source them ourselves.

Hmm, I remember the group buy, but don't think it ever went through. There was something like a 6 month wait for the door trims, and I never heard anything since :-(

Yep..My supplier dropped out of it because there was to many Part No's to contend with..

I can not do a group supply of these. :-(

I think it will be easier to just get em from

Spoke to Neil on email about this myself. My trims are goneskis.. He did suggest replacing the door pocket is what i need. Does anybody have pics of what the door pocket it exactly, does it have the back plastic backing, or is it only the vinyl cover for it? Could somebody shed some more light on what a door pocket is.

Thanks.

Its the big middle section that the handle sits on . the speaker cover screws to it as does the window switch..
It's the part that breaks (most of the time)

ok, does it also replace where the door handles screw into. because the plastic where the door handles screw into the door are broken and when i pull the door shut, the entire middle section moves out towards me when closing the door.. i will not be surprised if it completely snaps on me anytime soon.

There's a LH grey trim on ebay at the moment- I wish he'd taken the wooden trim off though! (so he could sell it to me:-)) Bought a taillight off this guy last week- seems OK, he bought a half-cut or wreck for the motor (his other listings were Commode-related- I hope he isn't putting a Soarer donk in a Holden...)

I've been searching for a supplier of a full trim A pillar pod mounts, I can get one for $160 made up but I am just wondering if anyone knows of any that can be bought for cheaper or anyone who's done a good job making one.
Do Supra A pillar pod mounts fit snuggly to the soarer A pillar???

I really would like a factory look but if it's too expensive it wont be worth it.
