I need to re-glue some rubber seals onto the body work after removing it to clean some joint parts. I did a search as to what type of glue I should use to stick them back on but had no luck ... So any ideas to what product I should use to glue the rubber back on to the body?

If you're talking about weatherstrip, I always use 3M Super Weatherstrip Adhesive on my cars. Never had any luck with contact cement. It always dies in the end.

industrial double sided tape, or as Mike said, the 3m contact adhesive is the best stuff to use. B.

Yeah I got some rubber/metal black silicone sealant. Quite similar to the M3 Stuff. Rater messy stuff but I got it sorted. Thanks for your help!

I'm told the design feature of the 3M that makes it so good is that you apply one layer to the rubber and one to the car, then let them dry.. then stick the 2 layers together with a third.

It also means when the seal breaks a little or you pull the weatherstrip off, it doesn't tear the hell out of it, it breaks the glue.
