you need the factory type 2 torsen diff its the best in my opinion for a daily driver.

But is the type 2 torsen able to fit in properly for a Soarer?
I thought I read somewhere that the casing is a different size, look similar but aren't?

Aaron, I have just put in a Torsen diff into my manual V8 and it is the only way to go. Great improvement to the car. I purchased the diff centre with the axle stubbs and just replaced the centre. Centre Cost me 600 and install was 400 including new bearings, wouldn't recommend using the old ones.

Aside from the above, you have to decide on the ratio as well. 4.083:1 IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO!
