Hey Dave C, how low do your bilsteins sit? I have a crap driveway and I need more height at the rear than the HSDs give me. The highest I can get the back up is 345 cwg, with 20mm of thread into the clevis bracket.
Maybe I could get another set of front dampners for the back, as they are a bit longer (from memory)
What are the min. spring rates that can be used realistically with the HR dampners? They come 18/10 but I have 14/8 on mine. I have no idea about the valving side of things but I'm keen to learn!
Also, can I fit bump stops to the HSDs? they can sound pretty harsh when they meet potholes, newb question I know but how else do I learn!

My experience with the HSDs i have on the track car is they do the job but you get what you pay for, they are not great. I too had one start leaking not long after i got it but then i bought them 2ndhand so age was unknown. I will say Grant from Otomoto was very helpful in sourcing me two brand new shock cartridges for $400 delivered
I spent a lot of time adjusting, driving, measuring, adjusting to get them set to where i wanted, my current setup is 16kg/mm fronts with a whiteline ARB, 12km/mm rears with the stock TT ARB and im pretty happy with it

Also I found rear height can be raised by making a spacer to fit over the top hat, I made ones out of chopping board (6mm HDPE plastic) which raised the rear by about 12mm and allows for more adjustment

That is unless you buy Bilsteins new and then you get a "your lifetime" guarantee. But your comfort is assured with the airbags, even if the handling can't match the coilovers. My Bilsteins are amazing. Cheers John
