My heating is kaput. The garage replaced the solenoid cos that was kaput, but now there is apparently no ground feed to the solenoid ... could this point to the Heater Control Unit being faulty?

Is the heater control unit included in the AC/Heater LCD (unreadable in cold weather! display) and control assembly (I drive a 2.5GTTL)? Has anyone else had this problem?

I checked out the ruski parts site - if I need a new heater control unit to solve the problem, do I read the picture right that I will need part number 88601A? (And is this the full Toyota part number valid world wide?!)

Run the AC Diagnosis and get the errors it gives you. Maybe that will help you to identify the exact problem.
