Not wrong Simon, hear what your saying. But even i thought that till i had then seen them fitted. With all the rest of the chrome on the car like door trim windows and grill it all kinda work with the silver colour. Once lowed and tinted should take away from the wheels. At wosrt the boss like them and she has to drive it.

Ahh, that explains why they look so large. They actually aren't the right size.
205/65/15 is the stock size, which has rolling diameter of 648mm. 245/45/18 has a rolling diameter of 678mm, which is 30mm larger than stock. Legal limit according to most states is 15mm larger than stock.

Thought that myself. I got the two wheels side by side, They where the same hieght and even got the tape out to double check.Even the rolling diameter was the same. But i will ask around and see what other tyre dealer say and let you know what they say.

Stay with the stockers. If you want a bit of shine. Sand back and polish up the lip on the standard 16's. You can also get new centre with gold badges from ebay america if you wish. Would look great I believe.
