Chris, I have had this problem prior to upgrading my suspension. I spent weeks trying playing around with the height control rods and trying to get it level. I also had an aftermarket height controller but you really need to get it level before using the height controller will work properly as it still takes height readings from the factory computer. In the end I decided that the sensors attached to the height control rods were probably the cause and would have needed to be replaced if I had stuck with air-bags.

One thing to watch out for is when you park it the car will self level and as the key is off the only way it can do this is drop one side , my driveway years ago was on an angle and I'd come out in the morning and the car was lower on one side , this was the car levelling out after I had got out !! Drove me nuts for 3 mths till one day I heard the air exhaust working and I looked up the book and found out about the levelling feature .
