Nick, open your pictures in Microsoft Paint. Press Ctrl + W. The Stretch and Skew box will appear. Enter different percentages in the 'Stretch' boxes to get different sizes, until you get your desired size. To make sure the picture adheres to SoarerCentral's size limit, press Ctrl + E to view the image's attributes. DO NOT change any values in this box as this will cut out edges of your pictures.
Since you've resized the images in MSPaint, you should have no problems with the image size limit since MSPaint tends to lower the image quality when edited through MSPaint. This is not visible to the naked eye though.
This is a simple way to resize photo's mate, no need to install third party software.

There is a program I use called resize.exe. You can find it with google, Or I'll find it again soon and put up a link. so simple, you give it a max dimension and it does all the rest for you.
