Hi guys,
Does anyone have much info regarding the terracharger as applied to the 1UZ? I dont believe it is the same as the M90, though it may be similar...couldnt find much specifics...just wondering if anyone one knows the max efficient boost of these superchargers on the 1UZ?
Also, what is the maximum boost that is recommended to run into a stock 1uz on 95RON fuel?

Thanks, Dave

For information on max boost and the like, go to

You might be spending thousands on a supercharger and are worried about another five cents per litre to run 98?

95 RON..Forget it.( Although 2-4psi you could )

YT1500 HAS the M90 Internals.( Identical except for the casing )

With an Intercooler about 15psi.

Where I live 98RON is not an option, unless you buy it in 44's straight from the docks, where it costs around $3.50 a litre, be thankful you have it...
Thanks for the info, Neil, I'll mail you for some further info?

That is not so good. No high octane ethanol blend going up there? I guess not

We may get it soon, so the rumours go. Being right in the middle of sugarcane country you would think we should, but ah well.

Dave

Same situation here in Mackay with 98, although coming real soon. Whereabouts are you located?

Tim does this mean that when I come up to Mackay for my "Fitting" I need to bring extra 98 as this is what I always run in my vehicle and as such it will be need to be tuned with 98 in the tank.

Yep, Brett. You should have it tuned on the fuel that you intend running in it if you are running an aftermarket ecu, or piggyback. If you are going to change from standard to ethanol blend fuel in a modified car then you'd need to retune it for the one you're running as the two fuels have different densities, thus resulting in different air-fuel ratios.
