Hey Guys,

What do you guys use to stop t he car missing? Anything more than 13psi in my car, the spits and farts. Any tips??

Close the gap on your spark plugs till she stop, i had the same problem when i changed my plugs and closed the gap down to 0.7mm before she stopped (17psi)

No, being NA you want as big a gap as you can.

Stock 1.1mm is fine (for 1UZ)

And I think you mean 0.7mm, not 7mm

yeah, i have gapped them, it helped a bit, for 13psi, but after that, its still no good.

Standard gap for a TT 1JZ-GTE is 0.8mm - no wonder you are having issues with 0.9mm still. Drop it to 0.7mm and report back.

Manny, im running 0.9mm gap on 10psi with no adverse affects such as missing. Is there a gain to be had by gapping it down?

Why would you bother to run 0.9mm anyway?
What is the benefit of running a larger gap than what's specified/required from the factory?
