Seeing as my power steering and tranny oil hoses are looking a bit taddy (I'm sure they're about to go any day now) I'm wanting to replace them when I put in my new coolers.

Just wondering if anyone can tell me the inside diameter for the respective hoses as this would save me puling them off just to measure them, and dumping fluid in the process.

Cheers

You should be able to measure the fitting/pipe that the hose goes onto, and that will give a rough approximitation of the required hose size.

Otherwise, guess.

ben, the trans cooler i fitted yesterday had 5/16" hoses on it and they were just too small (they fit over the pipes, but it was a bloody tight squeeze)

I seem to recall 10 mm mentioned? but dont take my word for it.. sounds big.

5/16 of those old-fashioned things is 8mm. So 10mm sounds OK if 8mm was tight.
