You remove it from the top.

Remove the seats and there will be some push in screws, then the shelf is clipped in at the back.

Just watch out when getting it out, as bending it may break it.

No picks, but you remove in this order:

1: Lift front of lower section of rear bottom seat section, and slide seat base out.

2: Undo 3 x 14mm bolts, if your looking at the car from infront, there is 2 on the driver side section, 1 on the passenger side section.

3: use xmas tree plug lifter (or 2 screwdrivers, 1 on either side) of the 3 or 4 plugs on the parcel tray top

4: GENTLY bend the parcel tray in the centre to move the edges away from the rear side C-pillar covers, and gentley pull the tray towards yourself, it will come forward and pull out nicely.

Take the side trims and side window trims off to get it out properly without 'bending' it.

When you put it back, get someone to assist you. The little white clips at the rear are a bitch to get all in properly. Line them up, and whilst someone holds a torch for you, use a really loooong blade screwdriver and push each clip in individually working from one side to the other.

This will evenly pull the shelf back into position nice and even, then just push in the two small christmas trees and your rear seatbelt trims and job done.
