Okay,
It is the rainy season here in the bahamas and well I noticed water leaking in when it rains.
I have taken out my interior panels and trims because I am in the process of retrimming. One day as I was driving and it was raining, I realized water leaking in from the.....I assume......window trim into the interior of the door. Now I know a few guys with soarers who's door trims are water damaged. I also noticed when I took apart my door trim it to had water damage and I guess that is why. What can I do, if anything? I noticed there are some little small holes at the bottom of the door for water to get out.....I think.
Someone please help because I want to sort this out before i put the interior back together.
Thanks

Yep, clean out the drain holes and make sure the plastic lining under the door trim is sealed up properly.

You can see the lining in the first picture here:

Thanks alot Peter.
So it is common for water to get down in there.
The darn plastic is gone so I'll go and get some plastic and get that sorted out.

It's common if the lining is missing. Water gets passed the outside lower window rubber seal then drips down. Without the lining, is can drip or splash onto the inside door trim.

I have this problem too, and I am currently looking to fix it tonight

Ben told me what happened and that it is commo so i will try to fix it tonight

I went to banner and bought 2 metres of clear plastic and a tube of silicon.

I hope this fixes my issue as my windows are fogging up badly, and my carpet is wet.

I can already see that my plastic liners are missing

Silicon - the draw back is that it won't be easy to remove if you need to, eg to replace the regulator or similar. Might be better using something like mastik which I think stays workable.

If you have a Sunroof you might find that the sunroof drains are either blocked or dislodged and this will cause a pool of water to settle on the rear floors, causing the windows to fog and carpet to be wet

Guys, make sure that you dry out the carpets and inside of the car well. I had damp carpets in the car and left the car when I went away on a week's business trip - when I came back the inside door panels and dash board was full of greenish / blackish mold.

The mold just wiped off the dash board and instruments, but was a real mission to get off the leather on the door panels.

Not pleasant at all...
