well my gf bought me 2 gauges for xmas and i finally got around to getting them both in.

my original plan was to have a mechanical oil pressure instead of the volt meter. but after some reading on here about special adapters and oil in the cabin i decided against it.

i also found it easier and looks better by moving the cd player down the bottom as the lower section of it is on more on an angle then the top and it was harder getting the backing flush up against the ash tray.

also may have to shimmy it across just a little to the right to block up the gap there

thoughts?

i've done a poo-brown -> black conversion but haven't done some bits, hand brake handle and a few of the knobs still need changing.

I will try and post pics of mine tonight, I did a similar thing except left the stereo in the stock location so my gauges are underneath.

I also have the same head unit and have nearly finished a black interior conversion as well!

Matt.

That's some nice work Shane. I did something similar to Matt above, but I managed to fit in my turbo timer and boost controller as well.

Here's a picture of my interior from an older thread...

vinh, is where your turbo timer is still a ash tray compartment? or did you remove that all together?

Yep I used the ash tray compartment. The lid has been glued shut and holes were cut for the two devices.
