hey ive just installed quickly some gauges into the a pillar. still have to wire them up but its sitting in place to give me an idea what it looks like. doesnt fit perfect but when i get some money ill have it fibreglassed in and retrimmed in another colour on top half of car as cant match the same grey up with anything lol
started out as a greddy pillar mount for a 180sx, i chopped the upper section off to fit and then sprayed it the closest colour i could find in a spray can just to get rid of black lol so its bit dodge at moment but as i said will redo it properly later. pics:

yeah ty thats what happened to me i bought one from ebay and fitted like crap lol i was going to try get a supra one but they were out of greddy ones they have been discontinued. at the moment its only temp till i can afford to get it retrimmed then ill mould it in properly
ive had a few mates with gauges daniel they can be easily engineered they mainly have to be wired in properly and fitted correctly and have no chrome or shiny surfaces to reflect sun and not to stupidly obscuring vision lol

haha the car is shockwave blue from the ford ba bf falcon. totally different colour from sun to shade as few blue pearls in it. i had a few spray cans made up in no-mix from a local paint shop and with some clear on top of the colour makes it come out 10 times better than just the std colour from the can. so far ive had no problems with it on the plastic you just have to make sure you clean it properly by degreasing them then using a pre painting cleaner like preptone, then spray it with plastic primer then should be right to go lol
with the a pillar i took the grab handle off and i cut the trim piece to cover the holes up. the top screw is actually where the grab handle hole is i drilled it without checking where it was lol so what i did was had a bit of perspex i cut up to go over the hole on the back for it to screw in
im actually going to swap them around now its in id rather the boost as the lower one as will be easier to monitor while im driving without taking my eyes away lol

haha yeah i have an eboost on the side of my console near my leg to keep it out of the way and i had it mounted so i could see it through the steering wheel.. but now with the bucket seats i sit so much further down its right where the spoke is lol
no-mix is a brand of paint that you get the paint code and if you cant get it pre made they make up the paint then inject it and propellant into a can so you can use it as a spray can.

not too much just bought extra parts to polish up while mine was still going.. umm say 50 for paint, 150 for all the polishing stuff, 450 for braided lines and fittings, 60 for small turbosmart silicone vacuum hose not the cheap bout good 3wks polishing and pulling stuff apart in spare time. the rest is all parts like cam cover and bolt on bits..
