Fantastic job Joe, you've inspired me!! Just a quick question though, what sort of condition was the leather in before you dyed it?

looks excellent mate, was it hard to remove the dash? Is there any info anywhere on removing it?
I did a search on the archives with 85 pages of results most of which were references to blinky dash fixes etc.

Luke , everything Barr the dash was taken out...I didn't see the need to remove it for fear that once I did it would rattle once I put it back ..which in my case most likely would have happed for sure.

The dash was not sprayed for obvious reasons and takes well to a soft cloth and doesn't leave smudge or stroke marks...everything else however was sprayed to give that even coat.

Thanks Brenton , the leather was in good condition with the exception of the drivers seat has a few deep cracks which I didn't bother repairing but it seems to have covered it a little.

The soarer pictures above now look identical to my Soarer (red with black leather).

May I ask has the car been resprayed? I couldn't imagine a red soarer with a spruce interior!

just one thing ive been wondering that has stopped me from doing similar thinigs to my interior.

What about the plastic sections, more specifically the control panels for windows/mirrors, hazard light button, stereo knobs etc.
I know you can do these with plastic primer and acrylic paint etc, but what about all the little lights and details/decals. If you were to just paint over them you wouldnt be able to see them!

Or do you just have to try and source the whole control panels/buttons from a factory black interior soarer?? (not an easy sounding option!)
