Plug the cigarette lighter plug into the main acceleration sensor ($1850 ex Japan and six weeks at least to get here). It fits, the only difference is the plug colour and both are on leads the same length so will easily fit. This will instantly kill the sensor and the "active' part of the suspension. Ride height is still controlled but it squats like hell on take-off and wallows around corners....but it goes like stink.
A more professional approach would be for me to build an interceptor box for the sensor (simple, relatively cheap and I've already done it). This allow you to independantly change the amount of anti-squat or anti-dive as well as left and right body roll. Adding in a little squat increases take-off power as the suspension pump doesn't run as long (or even not at all) and general power can be increased by dialling in a little body roll which surprisingly can actually improve handling or at least add more 'feel' making it easier to drive hard. Reducing anti-dive under brakes can help turn-in to corners too. Combined with my new (not ready for release yet!!!!!!!) Airbag/Active height controller (full replacement for the factory suspension computer which is a piece of crap and also includes a modified dash for height readout) this setup can make an Active a very interesting proposition on the track methinks.

The only time you actually manually shift is when you move the shifter after the revs have past the shift change point.
So if the PWR button makes it change 200rpm before redline, it doesn't give you much room to actually manually shift.
Most of the time when you manually shift you are actually doing nothing, as the ecu still controls the shift points (unless the first scenario I said above happens)
