Well, on the weekend I bid farewell to first and only Soarer, a midnight blue TT. During the whole selling process I was unemotional and didn't seem to care to that she was going.

She was going for a noble cause. The sale allowed me to purchase my first home.

However, when the time came to hand the keys over, I had some clear salty discharge came from my eye. WTF? I never thought one could get emotional about a car...

So anyway, what is it about these cars that get us so attached?

I know it won't be my last Soarer, either. As soon as I can,I'll be back an other. This time it will be of the manual, VVTi variety! Something like the one 7th from the bottom:

Awww like a relationship break up, it doesn't feel bad at first but the longer you go the more you miss them.

I recommend thrashing another car as soon as possible to see if you still have feelings for the Soarer. Then perhaps it is time to move on. You could always try her sister Chaser or her cousin Supra.

Paul.. I know exactly how you feel. Its been a good 10 months since I had to say good bye to my soarer.. and good lord do I miss her!! I am constantly looking for an SC300 or SC400 just to catch a glimpse of the car. It was wayyy to much driving it. And had I known how much I was going to miss it, I would have imported her here.. so yes, I deffinetly know how to you feel :-)
