I'm thinking of getting coilovers because my struts are really old. I've been thinking about the HR Supra coilovers from this site.

Any input or suggestions? Thanks.

you have to get them to aus first. and thats US dollars. Teins start at 1466+gst for super streets with no tops, and with tops which do absolutley nothing in a soarer are about 1695+. i can get you discount for the soarer club too.

But thats the only real option available within aus. except ISC or HSD which are both around $1400 for chinese and korian crap not JAP teins

I'm in the US, so shippings not a problem....I looked at the Teins too, but I heard the Basics were a little cheap.....

out of the "jap" range of suspension tein is o ne of the cheapest.
remember they do, from lowest to highest
tein basic
tein compact
tein superstreet (aus)
tein superstreet (jap)
tein HA
tein FLEX
tein super drift
etc, there are even more inbetweenbutnot enough space.
the compacts and basics are desighned to be an alternative to a replacement spring and shock combo, rather than a shock of 1 brand, and a spring of another, that arent desighned to be put together, so there is no way they could be a "matched setup" persay.
They are basicly a ride height adjustable, matched spring and shock package. a very entry level mod. buthtey can be revalved/rebuilt at a later date unlike tocico, kyb etc.

so down the track you can put stiffer springs in, and up the rate of the shocks, rather than turfing your original setup
