Was having a search for parts on Ebay and came across these..

Not affiliated with this person in any way, just thought someone on this forum might be interested after reading the whole debacle about those UZZ32 struts that never seemed to reach that twat in the UK..

After 3 to 4 hours of toil, the re-furbished struts are in. This is by far the best the car has driven in the 5-6 years I've owned it - no harsh ride, no juddering around corners and no pumping at stop lights.
My many thanks go to Peter Taplin who has done excellent work on re-furbishing/re-engineering these struts and has been a total pleasure to deal with.
I cannot recommend these struts highly enough. Every '32 owner should avail him/herself of this service.

Bill, Good to see you stuck your neck out, spent some cash and got a result.
Good stuff.

Did you need use of the pump they mentioned about in the auction?

Bill, What are you going to do with your old struts?

I would like to send mine to Peter Taplin for refurbishing, but I cant afford the car to be off the road for a couple of weeks. If I could get hold of a set of second handies then I could get them refurbished. My old struts could then be passed on to another 32 owner.

Thanks, Rob

Robert,

We do indeed have a complete set of front and rear struts available on a changeover basis.

Please contact either me or Peter Taplin via PM's for more information. You may only need to be off the road for (perhaps) 3-4 hours and the improvement in ride quality will bring an even bigger active grin.

Cheers
Steve

Fred, our re-manufactured '32 suspension accumulators are despatched already charged to the correct pressures, however, we have designed/manufactured a portable recharge/pressure checking unit which is available to those in the '32 community who wish to perform an annual "check-up".

Similarly, the ABS/TRC brake accumulators that we have re-manufactured are also pre-charged, and may be checked/re-pressurised at a later date as required.

Any queries, please contact me (or Peter Taplin)

Cheers Steve

Apologies guys, I have been out of town for a bit.

My struts were on exchange basis with Peter T, so I have none to spare.

The ride/handling improvement is superb - I'm still smiling.

No problem Bill, Steve has sent me some very comprehensive information and I now know that exchange is OK.
