Was checking out greenline.jp for front lower control arms, as mine need replacing big time and came across this set.

Then browsed more on the net and found this picture from the other forums. (factory arm)

Now with the factory arm the ball joint is straight up/down, and the Ikeya's are on an angle. Just like to know will they work? Cheers

The Ikeya's will allow you to retain correct geometry when the vehicle is lowered.

This will reduce bumpsteer and provide factory handling.

Matt.

Robert, I think you will find overall the cost of toyota parts and in particular soarer parts is very similarly priced when compared with ford and holden parts. You will also generally have to buy less parts and quality is second to none for almost all parts.

Quite often OEM parts from toyota are cheaper than buying parts from bursons ect which is exactly the opposite for ford and holden. Example, 1uz OEM water pump of the shelf from toyota about $165, from Bursons Repco price is about $240. 1uz OEM cam belt was $65 where as belt from Bursons Repco ect cost was $110.

Hi Guys,
I require bushes for the lower control arm for my 1988 3 Ltr GT limited Soarer. Any one know where I might source these. Toyota Hervey Bay don't know where to look because of the age of the car. I was told the the Supra has the same setup.
