Hi there, i'm about to replace my steering rack bushes, and i'm getting the rubber ones. Now Andrew Vlamos said to also replace my grommit bush? I just wanted to check is this necessary, or has anyone else does this?

Yeh i know i really should do it. Except I called Niall and asked how much it would be to replace the grommit bush as well, and Niall was like what's a grommit bush?

It's the grommet that holds the other end of the rack, I did it when I did my rack bushes but can't comment as to what difference it made.

Wasn't very expensive, available from Toyota, think the part number is in the instructions from Andrew.

No idea off hand, cost me $95 for the grommet and 2 oil filters (20004's) from Wellington, think the filters were around the 20-25 mark.
