Hi guys.
Did a search and Iā€™m not sure if this question has been asked before so if it has, sorry.
Just wondering if the stock 16ā€ TT rims will fit straight onto a V8 soarer (Stock discs and pads). Wanting to swap my pain in the butt to clean (plus ugly looking) stock 15ā€ mesh rims.
Cheers.

Yeah mate, no worries. I did the same thing to mine.
Make sure you get the longer TT type chrome wheel nuts coz the V8 ones look stink!

And they are SOOO much nicer looking and easier to clean than the standard 15". I'd go with Supra 16's though (what I have) as they are even easier to clean, there are loads of them available on auction websites, and they are wider so you can wack some extra fat rubber on them. I picked mine up for $100 including the front Yokohama's with 2/3rds tread. They have a little gutter rash on the left front but otherwise are perfect.

We don't pick up wheels quite as cheaply as you do, over in NZ, Matthew. Having said that, a nice set of near new IS250 wheels just went on Ebay for ~$225, no tyres though. Thought about them myself, but the GS300 wheels look good, and I prefer 17" if I were to change.

Ben, there were some free TT nuts going in the For Sale section, worth grabbing if still available- I put up with the horrible nuts for ages and ended up buying new nuts (24 of them coz some Lexus in US have 6 stud wheels) at some expense.

The std 15" wheels look OK but are a bugger to clean as has been noted. I still have a couple as spares.
