hey all i was told my soarer was involved in an accident before i bought it and the front left was the only part damaged.
replaced everything that was damaged, or so i thought.
the nut that hold the front sway bar on the left side always comes loose and falls off.
this time i cant find the nut.

Upload

if anyone has a part number for this nut i would appreciate it a lot !
also is there any way to fix this problem ??
i.e replacing the thing that connect the sway bar to the arm ?
any help is greatly appreciated.

Part number for the nut is 90179-10054

It will probably be easier to get the same nut from a hardware store.

There had to be a reason why the previous nut kept falling off.

take your nut of the other side, take it into a nuts and bolts place and get a set of nylon lock nuts, you will no longer loose your nuts :-)

It will just be a standard metric nut, get one from any auto parts store.

Be either 8 or 10 mm, If you get a nyloc nut then it won come off again.

i have nyloc nuts on mine and they come of fine? Theres a hex slot in the ball end for a reason :-)

The factory locking yellow paste stuff toyota used to keep the factory nuts on was 10 times harder to get off, had to utilize the use of some visegrips

Sorry, I meant the nyloc nut wont come off by itself. You can still remove it with a spanner, of course.

Use a standard metric Nyloc Nut. Available from any hardware or auto parts store.

Otherwise use any nut that fits and put 1 dob of loctite on it.

There are some on ebay, but I would be very dubious of their quality.

Do you actually need to replace the links?? Are they worn?? are they causing problems??

I have aftermarket links, but I suspect that they came with the aftermarket adjustable sway bars.

Don't know anything more than that though as the bars were on the car when I purchased it.

I believe they are whiteline, but not really sure.
