i have used koni shocks (yellow) with kmac springs/sway bars/ball bearing top mounts on my 4g63 power cordia and have loved it. What have you done and what would you do different if you could start over. Cheers

I've got Tokico Dual Chamber Gas Shocks (from the U.S.) and lowered King Springs. I am pretty happy with the set-up, nice firm ride without being too harsh and she handles quite well. Looking back though, based on the money I've spent if I could have my time again I would probably go a set of HKS coilovers. But given that I've done the suspension over time (i.e. springs, then 6 months later shocks), it just wasn't an option unfortunately.

I have Bilstein struts with HR springs. Gives a very firm ride with great turn in, it corners like its on rails, havent got out of shape around a corner yet (maybe im just not pushing it hard enough??). If i were to change it i would have used adjustable coilovers, especially height adjustable, as with the current set up and 18's its just too low, the wheels scrub pretty bad if you go over a bump while turning, and the lower lip on the front has been totally destroyed by my driveway.

I have garage section spec something or rather coilovers. There 8 way damper adjustable and height adjustable platforms. Ride is good, not too firm. I think there 12k-8k f- springs rates from memory. Can make it look fully hektic or look slightly lower than normal.

Yea that's my problem as well Jeff. The car's not extremely low at the moment, but I still scrape the front chin guard fairly often. So that means without height adjustable suspension a bodykit is out of the question! Handles well though!
Jeff how are the D2's like? Are they stiff or do they have a little bit of give?
I used to have Kei-Office coilovers on my old Soarer, can't really comment on them since they were beaten to buggery. I then had stock TEMS shocks with Espelir Active Super Down springs and it rode really nicely, a bit stiffer than stock but I would've preffered a stiffer ride with it's old ride height. The front lip was beaten up by my driveway too because of the height (or lack thereof).

when you guys say your shocks are adjustable- what sort of rigmarole is involved? Do you have to take into a garage to get the height adjusted, or can you do it yourself ? I'm completely ignorant of these things and am soon moving from an airbag suspension to normal shocks and coils, so would appreciate some good advice. I'm after a comfortable ride but with the ability to corner like I can now with my TEMS switch (which will have to be scrapped when the airbags go)..
