Hey,
I was under the car changing the oil and filter today and noticed some oil on the drip tray coming from the area circled in the pic below.
Can someone advise me as to whether or not this would need some serious immediate attention, or is it a fairly common leak that can wait a month or two? The leak is located on the front left side. Cheers.

Yeah I thought as much. Just wonder how long I can leave it as it's only one side and seems to be a fairly small leak? Cheers Ali

Sometimes if there is a steering hose above the rack, it could be the hose itself leaking and dripping onto the rack.

give it a clean with a cloth and see in a few days time if it's wet again from the oil, will give you a better idea where its coming from then....

Yeah, I agree with Boris - I would be looking above the boot - that much mess around the boot would normally mean the boot had a break in it, which is usually pretty easy to find. Clean up the boot and look for a break or hole, if you can't see one then its probably coming from somewhere else.

The hose above the rack in that pic looks clean. It is not uncommon from the rack to have a leak in this area, the internal seal goes and the boot ends up covered in fluid.

Cost for replacement seal was $70 from memory and it would be a fairly time consuming job as the rack has to be removed.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll give it a good clean so I know roughly where it's coming.
