I have a new set of rims for my soarer finally.
The are a work relax roar rim.

The fronts are a 17,9 inch wide.
The rears are a 17, 10 ind wide.

The rims are not in the best of condition but i have give them a tidy up.

These are some before pics

I have purchased some matte bronze paint for my rims from my local paint shop.
They were happy to make the paint up for me and the colour is very close to the one i wanted, very happy

Here are some pics of the painted rims

The rims didnt come with centre caps and i figure they would be to pricey and hard to find.
So i purchased a set of fancy wheel nuts to match.

I am going to go 245 by 45 tyres on the rear and 235 by 45 on the front.

They look nice painted Mark.

On a 10in rim I would look at a 265. A 245 will be very stretched.

I am running 235 on a 9in and 265 on a 10in and have stretech.

Matt.

yer matt i did want a 265 tire, but the price was like $300 plus for 1 tire.

iv been told that a tire that size with a 17 inch rim is hard to come by.

The sales bloke at ozzy rims in hobart reckons with the 45mm profile they shouldnt look to bad and for a low price of $140 per tire i cant say no.

These rims will/should be ok untill i save up for some 18inch works/volks.

Classic rims the, the Rezax Roars. Centre caps are unobtanium, but with some work/rays long nuts they look tough.

I have had a shop around.Living in tassie you dont get a big choose.

You have bob janes and up the road a bit is bob janes and the around the corner from there is bob janes.

I will have a good look around, there are some fair priced tires on ebay atm.

Will google khumo and see what it comes up with.
