I'm just tossing up options, the cheapest being the gear from a UZZ32, but I know there's a few guys around with 'proper' setups with coil+bag or air cylinders.

Basically just looking for some help on how to get adjustable height in my TT without paying $4k+, I need legal-looking height for driving around and for practicality, but want to dump it on its guts when parked up. Beyond that I don't really know how to approach this

Ah yeah as far as coilovers go if I go that route I'll get BC Racing street specs for $1500 fitted through Option 1

Not really what I'm after though, as I said I want to cruise around at a practical height that can get me through shopping centre carparks and not be a cop magnet, then flick a switch and dump it on its ass at meets.

UZZ32 does not use airbags, and it would be a massive effort to graft a UZZ32 active hydraulic suspension setup into a lesser soarer. It requires a myriad of pumps, valves and sensors and ecu's to operate.

UZZ31 has an airbag system but it operates fairly slowly, and as the struts are 20 years old, they are prone to failure. New ones are available at ~$900 each.

I have seen coilovers with a small airbag built in, this basically allows you to raise the car for getting over speedbumps, but won't let you slam it with a button.

Otherwise it's an aftermarket airbag setup.

Whichever way you go, I think it's going to be a 4k + exercise to do it PROPERLY and not bodge it together bogan style.

Hmm just a mistake on my part with the model code, I didn't mean the Active I just meant the airbag setup

I figured as much, just didn't want you hunting around wreckers looking for '32s to strip apart.
