Hi guys, I will be putting on some nice 19inch rims in a few days to come on my V8 soarer which currently still have full air suspension around with a spec-R ASE664 model height controller.

My question is :

What is the best setup for my ride height on the spec-R height controller?

other then setting up my ride height with the height controller do I need to do anything to my suspension?(as in there is a little bar thing near the suspension) don''t know what that called, but seen it on this forum for lowering the suspension.

advice and opinions will be great!

Once you have found the height you wanna be at I recommend getting a wheel alignment done as the geometry will have changed quite a bit. This would go for any size wheels really. I have 19's on my UZZ31 and have a height controller too.

The 'bar' id the hight sensor rod. You dont need to adjust those unless you want the car to sit on its belly :-) If you do you will just have to adjust them down a little. but you will find that the height controller will put it at a pretty low height at its lowest any way.

Thanks Peter!

Well I don't want my car to sit on it's belly as now i set up 555 for H1, 666 for H2 ( when the car hit 80Km/H), and H3 000 (max high)

Other problems:

1)When I rolled my guards, I throw out my front mud guards and i guess my V8 don't like it! i was driving to airport and it stalled twice while driving (uphills and down hills), a warning sign came up and the car was stalled, all electronics still working! I had search through Soarer central and it could be faulty fuel pump or stuffed fuel pump ECU. But i had reinstalled the mud guards (some cutting required), as I think because of water splashing on some of the connector under the guards causes the car to stalled. So far she is alright for now, no idea when she will throw her temper at me again by stalling.

2) after i had set the height i notice when i finished driving the ride height at the back was quite high as well as i am driving the car is rising by it self (looked like ready to go off road)! I need to select back to H1 it will back to the same height

3)There is an annoying knocking sound on my left rear wheels when the road is uneven ( i had replaced the rear sway bar links)

I really hope to fix all these before sending her for wheel alignment. Please help me out guys :-)
