Giving my UZZ31 it's 100,000 Km birthday. I've got a little bit of play in the steering, which makes the car tramline on uneven roads. The car had Vlamos Bushes through the front and the steering rack mounts about 5 years ago, I've done about 30,000K's on them. While under the car, and getting someone to rock the steering wheel back and forth, I'm feeling a little bit of play from the drivers side of the rack. I remember seeing a diagram of the Soarer steering rack with a bush or a plastic cup that sat in the driers side of the steering rack. I'm hoping that is what is causing the problem. Does anyone have that diagram or experience with a similar problem before I take it the the mechs?
