Sourced new genuine engine and tranny mounts for a mate and fitted them yesterday .
Made up a frame to hold the engine in place so that we could drop the cross member rather than lift the engine .
Job went well , was not too tricky , will be able to do the next one in about 2 hours .
Left hand mount was in two pieces , the right hand mount was nearly in 2 pieces and the tranny mount was also in 2 pieces !!
Simon could tell how much smoother it was just driving it out from the hoist !!
Now it's as vibration free as it should be .
Now only about 6 more to do .

It's ridiculous. I can't even feel the car start, or the engine rev, it's even QUIETER! It feels/sounds like the engine isn't doing the work it was before lol, but it certainly has the same pull

Gear changes are smoother too

you'd have to ask mr Rich up there. It's just over $300 to get the genuine toyota mounts, at a CHEAP price. :-)
