yep, its pretty broken, it made a bit of a mess in my engine bay too.
Since those pictures I have pulled the pump out and dismantled it. The clip behind the bearing snapped, which made the shaft and pulley (that was still attached) fall straight out. Has this happened to anyone else before? I ordered the kit from Canberra Toyota today. The bloke said that there was only 1 left in Aus.. $80!!! I'd like to know what that $40 dollar one has in it.

I picked up the kit from toyota today. The bloke said $75 instead of the $80 price tag he quoted me. I handed over my money and he gave me a small plastic bag full of common seals and washers. Tomorrow, I'm going into CBC Bearings and buy all of the seals that are in the bag from toyota, to make my own kit. If it goes well, I'll return the $75 kit. It should be a whole lot cheaper. So hang on Jeff, there might be a cheaper way around the $80ish kit. Ill post all of the model numbers of the parts I find to be used as a reference.

Toyota power steering pump gasket kit for a JZZ3#
Part: 04446-24020
There are two things in the kit which you cannot get from anywhere else but toyota:
1). Gasket
2). Oil seal
Other than that everything else is just basic 'o' rings, a few copper washers and 2 snap rings. If your lucky your old gasket will be fine but just in case the part number is 44327-26010. The oil seal is the only thing (other than the gasket) that you will have to get from Toyota that you must replace. The part number for the oil seal by it self is: 90311-17007. The bearing to use is an NTN 6203 (with seal).
I will get the info on the remaining things in the kit soon.
