Hi, I just acquired a uzz31 to replace my dead one.

As I got in to drive it into the shed I noticed the open door light come on the dash and start flashing when I started the car.

I opened and classed both doors multiple times as well as the boot. But it keeps flashing whenever I start the car.

With ignition off the door light only comes on if I open the door. Then goes out when I close it. But as soon as I start the car it comes back on and starts flashing.

Anyone else come across this problem?

Check wire harness in drivers door i had a issue like that once, some of the wires in the harness were broken

I'll check the loom but I had broken door loom wires in my wife's soarer and symptoms were a bit different.

Changed over to a good working door loom and problem still exists. Finding lots of dodgy wiring so it looks like I'm in for some pain.

Well problem fixed. I pulled the airbox out, changed power steering hose, put airbox back and error has now gone

Could it have been the bonnet open sensor? I'm having the same issues. Sorry to bring back up an old thread!

Open bonnet sensor would belong to an aftermarket alarm system, not part of the original wiring.
