Gday All, My soarer sits so high that it looks like a monster truck. With the height set to normal and the TEMS on sport the dash still lights up with "active high". I've only had the car a week so its been this way since I've had it. I have read threads applicable to suspension height and will disconnect the suspension computer for a reset... any other suggestions?

Yeah youve got that right!! lol shame it doesnt look as nice up high huh...
does your sus button work at all? or do you find the car tends to stay the same hight? if you do find out what the problem is and how to fix or have it fixed, it would be great if you could let me know. Cheers mate

Also, there was a run of 31's with broken suspension switch's. As in, the "Sport/Normal" mode switch appears to operate correctly, but in reality is broken internaly. New ones are, of course available from Toyota, but most folks have repaired theirs successfully with a bit of glue & stuff.
Suggest doing a SEARCH to find the appropriate thread.

I'm buggered if I know where Watsonia is??? seeing as how I'm in NEW ZEALAND, but I would suggest to ewe to clic on the Blue sponsors link directly below, and to the left of this post, as in: Sports & Luxury Cars, who are experts at Soarer problems & stuff. And yes, they are in Melbourne.........somewhere.

Broken switch or the wire come off the back of the switch.
Is it a '32 or a '31 with a '32 dash.
Check the diagnostics section and use search and check the alsc archives. there is tonnes and tonnes of great info here, all you have to do is find it.
BTW, if it is an active, welcome to the active club, mate.

The switch is about $500 ex Japan from Toyota so check out all the repair options first. The search function is your friend (NB we are not the search function, it is at the top of the page!) Height/TEMS switch assemblies are sometimes available from wreckers for around $50 but hard to find.
