Just wondering Peter.. Would you consider making a Soarer central forum Iphone app.. I'm quite sure there is a fare few members that us apple products like Ipad/Iphone and Ipod.. I know you try to keep this a free non payed site.. I would be keen for an app and happy to pay the usual app prices to cover your cost to create the app... The other issue I guess would be having to update the app to suit future upgrades to apple firmware .. Food for thought.. Would make it easier to access to what I see as the best source of soarer information and great bunch of people and to bring the forum to the future technology... Despite what others may think like past issues.. You've done a great job Along with previous admin's ... Great job keep up with the great work...

I use the site on almost exclusively an iPad and don't have issues.

It's not really an app that it would need, but a reader (I have clicked on some supra websites and they have a native taptalk or something for I devices)

I wouldn't use it on my iPhone, too small writing. But I'm getting on a bit, too.

The only thing I'd like to see is start a new post put on the top of the page not the bottom.

It's easy enough to read on my Android phone - but it has a decent sized screen unlike the itty bitty iphone one.

Lol.. Wasn't trying to get into an iPhone/android/Samsung what's best war... As all phones are aimed at certain people and there needs.. So it don't really matter who's is best.. Not trying to have a go at ya Matt.. I personally like the iPhone over Most phones but that's what suits me.. There is ups and downs on all phones..
The iPhone has zoom function and can be seen easy also..
Now having an app would simplify viewing the forum instead of having to go through the web browser ..

No worries - main reason I dumped my iPhone was the tiny screen - and the crap support for Apple products in NZ frustrating the hell out of me every time it broke - I know it's much better in Australia.
I often find a lot of portal apps are very poor quality. I think it's often better to simply create a mobile website - eg m.soarercentral.com - the problem is I doubt this forum software has any support for such a beast, so it's probably not tenable.

No support at all. The software author has not been contactable for years.

Just checking this out on the Galaxy Note 2, and it is quite good.

Both ReadIng and posting is great.

I am writing this with The s-pen and it is handling my lousy writing quite well.

They are good products - but I'm never buying a skinned android device again, manufacturers don't give a damn about timely software updates, if you get updates at all, and I haven't got time to fart around with custom roms. Sticking with Nexus devices from now on.

no need for an app in my opinion.

I personally find Soarer Central loads way, way quicker on my iPad 3 (using Safari) than on my 2013 Mac Mini (using Safari or Chrome). Can't explain why. There is almost no loading time.
