Thought this section needed some more input, so OLD SCHOOL IS DA BOMB. I prefer these beasts to the z30's, what about all the other older model owners, would you trade for a z30 of you had the opportunity?

i sorta have gavin, but that wasnt like i had the choice. my z10 just kept taking my money away, so since i still had a love for the soarer's, i bought a newer version, that in mind it is newer, more of them, so better for parts and till this day havent had anything to fix up. giving 'my circumstances'.

well you certainly get more people looking at your car when you drive a 3rd gen soarer, however i still have a soft spot for my mz10, even though their not that attractive, but cool enough for a boxy 80's car. it felt more comfortable to just jump in it and drive.

Z10's can look pretty decent.
although mines had a fair amount spent on it.
more people look at my car than any z30 soarer ive seen(unless they have some stupid ass paint job on them and ridiculous rims)

Iv'e always liked your car Johal just by looking at the pictures. You've kept the paint layout in original form which I love with the blue strip panels. Also given that it has the great 1jz engine, it's got balls.

Old Skool better for sure, the old soarers *z10's and *z20's still look tough.. the z30's look more like luxo cruisers with missing doors then tough cars, but then again i guess thats what they are meant to be..

Hi,

I'm new to this board and I'm finally finding out about the car I love. I've been told she's an MZ20 but she looks just like the pics you show Daniel. So what exactly is the model I have? Kinda confused at the moment. From the minute I got in and adjusted the seat I fell in love. Was wondering exactly what litre engine she has? Does anyone know?

I know what you mean when you speak of "old school". She's beautiful and there's nothing like it out my way.

Regards,
Jennifer

No mistaking it for anything other than a '80's Toyota. Basically a 2 door Corona with a long bonnet.

One some guy parked in our carpark at work next to my car. I would normally have had it towed, but it was a Soarer, so I left it alone
And it was even dirtier than mine!

Letters denote the engine, so GZ20 is the 2-litre (1G engine), MZ20 is the 3-litre (7M engine).
