Guess what everyone? finally my GZ20 is back on the road and full of 1JZ goodness!!! i can't tell you how much i have been waiting for this but now that it is done i can't stop smiling everytime i hit the loud pedal!!! the wait has definitely been worth it, although it would have been better if the first 1J i put in it had of lasted more than 3 days so now in a months time or so i will be putting in the R154 and my torsen and then hopefully i should be a happy camper. The car is great to drive, as anyone with a gz20 can understand how much fun these cars are to drive, well the 1J makes them even MORE fun :D. Once i manage to get it to rev past 5500rpms (think it is the idle position switch) it should be really really fun! After that then i am guessing that the gearbox and diff will be going in followed by my EBC and adjustable cam gears. Then i need some 440cc injectors than i will fit my Power FC and THEN get it dynoed :D i will keep you all posted but i am REALLY looking forward to the next meet :D cheers matt

thanks man, at the moment doing a dash colour change, waiting for everything to tack off/dry till i can put it back together again and test out my idle position "fiddlin" on the road :D but yeah keen to cut some coast 'tuffys' once gavin sorts out my speedo hey gav? :D:P

yes the dash has had a little mishap at the moment but i have an auto dash that can be used instead of merely just for parts! If we can sort out the 5K rev issue then i can let it really rev out when its spinning
