ok driving round on sunday my car starts to make a weird knocking noise thought it might have been something in the boot but nothing in there that can move noise got alot louder wen i got back home anyone got any ideas on wat it could be it only makes noise wen moving not stoped at lights.
car is a stock mz21 with auto 7mgte sounds like either diff or something to do with suspension not std shocks and springs but not sure wat they are. any idea on wat to check would be great thanks aaron

No seriously though, a few people have been having problems with their diffs lately. You might want to get it checked before the knocking stops, as so does your car...

sorry about the typing guess i'm just to used to the good old sms messages looks like i'll have to find a good work shop to get the diff fixed might be time for a new 2way lsd any other ideas it could be that anyone knows sounds like the drivers side rear if that helps

Before you do anything else, check the wheel. Bolts are tight, spigot/centering ring good (if you have any), wheel damage.
A wheel that is not properly centered or not properly put on will do the same. If it is a wheel then you should feel it in your bum if it's a rear and in the steering wheel if it's a front.
