Well, with the introduction of these fine vehicles into the Australian market, I will be in the market for one of them shortly, not for me though, but for my girlfriend. I think after driving around a hyundai accent for the last 5 years, she is really getting sick and tired of the power and since it will be paid off shortly, I am leaning towards a aristo. I would love a JZX100 Chaser, but at twice the price, and with a 2J it is pretty hard to resist. Basically what I'm after is opinions on these vehicles, how they drive, do they seek much attention, anything really because we will be keeping it relitively stock. I'm still a little reluctant on purchasing one though becuase there still relatively new, so parts might be a little more expensive than say in a years time when more of them are sold?? All your help would be appreciated...

I'm doing the same for wife's car, i can't see them being any more problematic or costly than Soarers, which is not too bad considering the Quality you get for your money.

Well Lew, I've had mine for approximately a month now and she has been running like new havn't had any problems and for the power you get from the 2J stock i get about 600-650kms out of a tank with giving it a bit here and there the only issue i had was the filters need cleaning the air purifier and the aircon filter. otherwise great cars to drive and suprisingly easy to drive. Any other specifics you might want to know just ask and i'll be glad to help

The only thing to remember is that the aristo is a "little" bigger than an excel. And, no matter what angle i sit i cant see the boot or the front of the bonnet! A little scary in tight parking spots. A reverse camera and stock fender pole might be useful for someone thats not had much experiece in driving big cars.

another thing you might want is a baseball bat and a decent alarm it attracts a lot of attention with people not knowing what it is i just got back from a hang out and i couldnt take my eyes off my car from people tryna see it find out what it was. By the way, Steven Nanevski are you macedonian?

I bought an Aristo for my wife last week to replace her Soarer (TT limited Soarer in the for sale section) and I have to say it was a great choice. Plenty of power and that lovely 2JZ torque, and beautiful to drive. Leather interior, sunroof, and a cushy powerful ride make for a pleasant experience. I am looking forward to liberating a few more ponies from the 2JZ powerhouse.
