I decided to find the speaker wires through the stock amp's output loom and then connect them up to the new headdeck. Of course, this means running 6 pairs of speaker cable from the boot to the consol, but hey, better than ripping all the door trims off.

I have attached a couple of pics that will hopefully guide someone wanting to wire up the speakers to a new headdeck. Hope it helps

PS- im not sure about polarity, so its anyones guess.

This method means you will not use the stock amp, so make sure you leave the loom unplugged.
