Use C-4 for Cylinder Setting.
Set the Speed Cancel to 180KPH.

hi joshua
i have mine set at 107% tyre size and seems to be spot on for 245/40/18s
probably trial and error depending on your tyre size
also for revs ..have it set on 4cyl and 4p
good luck

nah i brought it second hand from neil. he sent a wiring diagram but it turns out that it was wrong and neil wasn't sure cause it'd been a while since he installed it. but its all good i figured it out. where it said the blue and brown were for the speed really was the pink and purple. easy as to fix up. thanks

I don't know about the Apexi II, but with the version 1 I use these settings.

1. RPM
2. Speed
3. C-4
4. P-4
5. 7000
6. 180
7. Tyre Adjustment
8. 108 - this one is critical to speed cut.

The wiring diagrams are also wrong for the Version 1 model, again I don't know about V2.

The Apexi makes the ECU think that the car has not exceeded 180kph which is how it avoids the speed cut. The unfortunate side effect is that the ECU then also doesn't know when to change to O/D if your foot is to the floor. Lifting off a tad will get the gears to change.

It's more of an inconvenience than a problem.

From memory, 3rd gear will go to approx 190kph. so it's only when you go over that speed that you really need 4th anyway.

and being the outstanding citizen that you are joshua, you wouldn't feel the need to exceed 190 anyway... besides, we both know you could catch me within a quater anyway ;-), yes thats right a blown 1uz-fe will eat my tt within the quater.. doesn say much for my 1j does it lol

Murray, which version RSM? I posted the settings for version 1 just two posts above yours. It should keep the settings unless you have wired it wrong.

Sorry to open an old thread but I'm having the same problem my rsm isn't remembering the settings, is there a memory/constant 12v wire that needs to be connected, everything is working fine other than It won't save the settings,
I've got a 93 auto TT rsm wires are as follows:
Yellow - Rpm signal
Red - IG Power
Black - Earth
Purple - speed input
Pink - speed output, I set all settings turn the car off and the settings go, I'm stuck, I got no wiring diagrams with it just going off ALOT of google searches, any help would be appreciated
