That's exactly what I plan to do Tai. I am going to cut the bottom and back out of my 1 din pocket and use it for the mounting points and then cut out a face plate to go all the way down to the ashtray.

Wellington, Petone to be exact.
I am working part time and also in my final year of automotive electrical engineering at Weltec in Petone.
They bought a Dynapack hub based dyno setup last year and have done nothing with it so my tutor and I got it setup and did some runs with one of the school Maxima's first to suss out how to use it then ran my car on it.
They also have a roller based dyno but it's all mechanically controlled and quite primative. The Dynapack is definitely the way to go, very cool electronics behind it.
School finishes for me in about 6 weeks so I have to have my setup done before then however I am sure I will be able to come back next year and use it with no problems.
Fraser from Dynapack came down and gave us some instruction. He also bought down his 450KW GTR and did a few runs up and down the street. It's got the plate F1RACR. It's sick as.
