| I am getting ready for an M90 setup on my UZZ30 and wondered what others were doing for boost and air fuel ratio gauges and how they had been installed. Are people installing an additional O2 sensor driving a gauge to monitor AFR on a stock ECU or do most do some checking on a dyno using someone elses gear? How have people mounted their gauges in the cabin? Keen to see some pics. Cheers Matt. |

| Well the only gauge i actually have in mine is a boost gauge and a little led that tells me when my boost cooler fires. I got a gauge bracket and mounted the gauge then put a hole into the same bracket for the led to mount and mounted it to them two little tabs under the dash on the drivers side so it didn't damage the dash itself and can be unclipped when ever if i need to. also i put some black beautal which is a type of blue tack sorta thing but it's alot more adhesive and made the two tabs alot more secure. i like it. neat but easy to see for the driver. It's probably smarter to have more gauges to monitor everything going on but i like the clean interior and didn't want to clutter it up. (where mine is mounted)
(mates gauges in his TT, better way of seeing how it looks mounted down on them tabs as his are as well)

| That would take up some much needed leg room, would it not? |

| My mates does. Mine is just a single one and i hardly notice it. you'll find it sits nicely above where your legs go so there is a bit of clearance there |

| Thanks guys. I have a single din stereo with a pocket underneath. I have seen some small gauges that fit in the pocket which I might have a look at. Cheers Matt. |

| Defi make a 3 guage pack that is single DIN sized. But its like $800 or something. Most guages are 2 5/8ths so they are very very tight to fit in a single DIN height. |

Apexi EL series I think. - only 25mm thick or so. Mounts nice and discretely and can been seen more easily when driving. |

| Gianna, I had a custom plate made up as it was a 1.5 din space which no one bloody makes gauge holders for. |

You could, though I made up a little right angle bracket from some scrap black plastic that I had lying around and screwed it down. I filed a little channel in the black trim piece for the tube and wiring to come through. - hidden by the gauge once it's installed. |

Thanks Mark. They're Blitz's Mirror Drive gauges. I had purchase them from an overseas mob. |

| was that boost cooler question aimed at anyone in particular Gianni?! I have one and it just makes it safer and you can tune the car a little more aggressive if you like as it stops some detonation issues. |

| it was a general question to people with the methanol injection. I was considering installing one but wanted feedback first. Joshua do you have before and after dyno figures or was the car tune with the methanol from the start |

| I'd only use methonal injection if your intercooler can't keep up. ie, on a supercharged V8 (as intercooling can be impossible) or on very high boost applications. |

| Yeah Andrew that was my problem. couldn't have an intercooler with my current charger. Gianna, I don't have any figures yet. my Injection is only working for cooling atm cause i'm running a safe tune but soon i'll have a safe and aggressive tune at a flick of a switch and that's when the injection will really come into play |
