Hey Guys
Took my blown V8 to a track day today and had an awesome time, was actually impressed with my Soarer on the tight turns it wasn't as much of a boat as I was expecting. Anyways, so after a few runs out there I came back in and heard a really loud rattling noise coming from under my bonnet. Popped it and on closer inspection it appeared to be coming from my Supercharger (on the front of it near where the pulley is located) I think this sounds like a bearing problem. I will be getting it fixed when it goes in for it's service in a few weeks by Tristen Hewitt at WTF Auto but was just wondering everyone's thoughts on driving it around until then. Can I cause anymore damage to it using the car, even if I don't go above 3000rpm so the supercharger gets bypassed?
Thanks a lot, Dave.

Possible Problems,
Pulley has come loose on snout.
The Spring Loaded joiner on the inside of the shout to drive gear is stuffed. Get an updated one from Yella Terra ( Easy to swapout. ) They are about $30 odd.

Ah beautiful Neil thanks a lot! Hopefully it turns out to be something small as it has been working beautifully since I got it. In regards to driving it round till it gets looked at what do you think? It's going in to have the oil seals at the back of the block fixed and also general servicing and stuff anyways, so I'll leave it all to my mechanic to fix I suck with DIY, just don't have the confidence to tinker with things lol

Awesome, thanks for the tip Adam. I got no idea about who to speak with about what yet and if it came across that I was fobbing your ideas off Neil, I didn't mean it that way I just don't know how to check this kind of stuff by myself! lol It all seems VERY complex to me...
